It’s almost time for the most dreaded days of the year: 2018 Tax Day. It is scheduled for this Tuesday, April 17, 2018. The 15th falls on a weekend, so we get an extra two days. It doesn’t have to be all bad. Many businesses offer tax day freebies to help ease the pain. We’ve gathered a few of the best below.
1. Boston Market Chicken Deal
We are not 100% sure on this freebie, but last tax year Boston market did a cute little offer. They offered a half chicken single meal with your choice two sides, cornbread, a regular beverage, plus a cookie for just $10.40 on tax day. A cute idea given that Form 1040 is used in just about everyone’s tax return. We have a Boston Market located nearby our location and plan to give it a shot ourselves.
2. Great American Cookie
We know you’re going to the mall to spend that refund. Stop by the Great American Cookie counter to get your free cookie on tax day 2018. They are offering a vanilla flavored cookie baked with white chocolate chips and chocolate sandwich cookie pieces.
3. Office Depot Shredding
Not a great deal if you only have a few documents to shred. If you are like us, you probably have stacks upon stacks of items that need to be shredded for security purposes. Stop by your participating Office Depot to let them do the heavy shredding.
4. Firehouse Subs Free Sub
Technically you must buy a sub to get a sub. It still counts as a freebie though. On April 17, as well as the 18th through 19th, stop by to get a medium or large sub, chips, plus drink to get your free medium sub.
5. Free Kona Ice

6. Chili’s Discount Margarita’s
Who doesn’t need a drink on Tax Day? Chili’s feels your pain. They will be offering a $5 specialty Margarita on April 17th, no coupon needed. Better yet, go during happy hour to score these great specials.
