The national Do Not Call list has been around for over ten years, but not everyone knows about it. You simply add your number, home number, mobile number, or any other phone number in the U.S. to be put on it. You can do so by visiting their site and giving them your info. You can also submit a complaint about troublesome numbers. Will it stop all telemarketers? Of course not, but it’s a good first step.
